1. Glossary
​
Customer refers to the person purchasing a service from our website. The term is defined and used interchangeably with Consumer, Player or you
​
Company refers to the vendor providing the service that you purchse. The Company name is The Scout's View, which is used interchangeably with us, we or our.
​
Contract refers to the legally binding agreement made at the point of your purchase. This agreement is in effect from the point of purchase until the full supply of service, at which point it ceases.
​
Scout Report is the flagship service of The Scout's View, and refers to a 6 page PDF file inclusive of front and back pages which are identical with that of all purchases. Once this is sent via email, the service has been fulfilled and the Contract has finalised. This is used interchangeably with service, report and flagship service.
​
Full Match refers to the requirement from the Customer to include on purchase. This is the basis of which the Scout Report is formed.
​
Payment Form refers to the form that Customer's use to complete payment, share details and submit their Full Match.
​
VEO are the industry leaders for recording football matches across the world, and is the medium requested by the Company for Customer's to send their Full Match. The Scout's View are not partnered with VEO in any way, shape or form.
​
Website means the website that our services are advertised and sold from - thescoutsview.com
​
2. Application
​
2.1 The Terms & Conditions stated in this agreement begin with immediate effect upon the point of your purchase of our goods, and finish when the Company fulfils its end of the Contract and sends the Customer their Scout Report. After this, neither party have any further obligations.
​
2.2 These are the Terms & Conditions of which we sell all services to you. You can only purchase our services if you are eligible to enter into a contract i.e payment via Debit/Credit card or Paypal, and are over 16 years old.
3. The Company
​
3.1 The Company is a British-based sole trader advertising and fulfilling services under the name The Scout's View. We use our website thescoutsview.com to advertise our services and process payments to Customers worldwide.

4. Services
​
4.1 The Company's flagship service is the Scout Report which is a 6 page PDF file inclusive of front and back pages that are identical to that which every Customer receives.
4.2 The service entails the 4 pages in between which are titled Key Strengths, Areas for Development, Positional Grading, and Description/Next Steps.
​
4.3 The service is differentiated to that of each Customer by the text written which is unique and bespoke relating to the Full Match the Customer has sent on purchase.
​
4.4 A Full Match refers to a video of a football match featuring the Player in its entirety with no edits. The Company reserves the right to refuse to enter a Contract if the Customer has sent anything diverging from a Full Match (e.g highlights packages or heavily edited videos).
​
4.5 The definition of a football match in its entirety depends on the age group and nation of the Customer. For example, U10 matches are often 40 minutes compared to U16 matches which are often 90 minutes. It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure that they are sending the Company a Full Match in relation to their Player.
​
4.6 It is the Customer's responsibility to accurately identify the Player in the Payment Form​. In the instance that the player is not identifiable, The Scout's View will contact the Customer to fully disclose the matter. In the event that the Customer is not able to identify the Player through miscommunication or a lack of other video, the Company has the final decision to issue a refund or not.

4.7 The Payment Form requests a VEO link in order to submit a Full Match. It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure that the Company is able to access this footage.
​
5. Delivery and Refund
​
5.1 The Scout Report will be sent via email to the named email on the Payment Form within 10 working days of purchase.
​
5.2 The Contract between Company and Customer begins at the point of purchase and lasts 10 working days. Working days are defined as Monday to Friday and do not include weekends.
​
5.3 The Company will aim to send the Scout Report as soon as possible, but reserve the right to take up to 10 working days.
​
5.4 The Company will issue a full refund in the event that a Scout Report has failed to have been sent within the 10 working days deadline.
​
5.5 The Company will issue a full refund in the event that the Player is not easily identifiable and there is no other alternative to identifying the Player. The Company holds the final decision regarding this type of refund.
​
5.6 The Company will not issue a refund if the Scout Report is deemed to be of unsatisfactory quality by the Customer.
​
5.7 The Company will not issue a refund if the Customer perceives the completion of the Contract to be longer than 10 working days, but the Company is able to prove otherwise.
​
5.8 Aside from the two exceptions stated in points 5.4 and 5.5, the Company operates a no refund policy.
​
6. Fees and Payment
​
6.1 In order to complete the purchase, the Customer must pay using the Payment Form once they have completed all other sections of the form. Customers have the choice of payment via Debit/Credit card or via PayPal.
​
6.2 This is the only payment required by the Customer. The Scout's View add no additional charges to the Scout Report or any other service.
​
6.3 The price of the Scout Report stands at $75 USD and is in uniformity regardless of age, length of match, club or any other distinguishing features.
​
6.4 The price of the Scout Report is payable in all world currencies, and is convertable on purchase to the conversion price of the day.
​
6.5 Completing payment on the Payment Form is considered an acceptance of the Terms & Conditions in addition to the tickbox you must tick to complete payment.
​
6.6 Once a payment has been made it cannot be withdrawn or cancelled unless in the rare circumstances laid out in points 5.4 and 5.5 of Delivery and Refund. The Company holds full discretion over this.

7. Duration of Contract
​
7.1 The duration of Contract begins at the point of purchase from the Customer, and the Company sending your Scout Report to you via email.
​
7.2 The duration of Contract may also end if the Company has not sent the Scout Report within the aforementioned 10 working days.
​
7.3 The Company nor the Customer holds any further obligations on the completion or termination of the Contract.
​
8. Handling of User Information
​
8.1 The Scout's View require the following information to be shared upon purchase:
- Parent First and Last Name
- Parent Email
- Player Name
- Club the Player is affiliated to
​
8.2 The Scout's View will not ask for nor require for any further information than this.
​
8.3 The Scout's View uses this information for the sole purpose of fulfilling their end of the Contract and to personalise your Scout Report for you.
​
8.4 The Scout's View keeps this information, alongside the Scout Report we have created and sent to you for proof of purchase and delivery.
​
8.5 After completion of the Contract, the Full Match sent by the Customer will be deleted and will no longer be accessible by the Company.
​
8.6 This limited information will never be shared with any source, person or company outside of The Scout's View.

9. Enquiries
​
9.1 We are contactable via the "Get In Touch" tab on thescoutsview.com or by emailing info@thescoutsview.com
​
9.2 These are our primary forms of contact due to time differences, and we reserve the right to decline any phone call.
​
9.3 The Scout's View will respond to any enquiries within 48 hours.

10. Disclaimers
​
10.1 The Scout's View, nor anyone who acts on behalf of it, are working for or representing any other company or football club.
​
10.2 When you are purchasing a Scout Report, you are not receiving a report from any of the clubs we have worked at, but instead the individual scout completing your Report. For example, you are purchasing a Scout Report from The Scout's View, and not a European Football Club.
​
10.3 When you purchase a Scout Report, you are not on trial with any football club. The Company has no means nor obligation to refer players to other clubs as this is not the purpose of the Company.
​
10.4 Feedback provided in our Scout Reports are the opinion of The Scout's View and no other entity, club or company.
​
​
These Terms & Conditions are non-negotiable and must be read and accepted when purchasing any of our services. Completing the Payment Form and processing payment is interpreted as acceptance of these Terms in conjunction with the tickbox you have filled in.
